Young Researchers' Journal Club

The Journal Club of the International Society on Loop Quantum Gravity is an informal online meeting series aimed at junior researchers. It is intended to be introductory in nature and offers early-career researchers, both within and outside the field, the opportunity to learn about current research topics, discuss recent developments, exchange ideas, and gain experience in presenting and critically analysing scientific work in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The talks are intentionally informal, and questions during the presentation are encouraged. Sessions are moderated by the organisers to ensure that more extensive discussions can take place at the end of the talk.

Researchers who would like to present their own work, draw attention to new or classic results in the literature, or discuss and receive feedback on topics they have recently begun to explore are invited to fill an online form at the indico page of the journal club (linked below).

The series is organised by the Young Researchers Working Group (YRWG), with the support of a voluntary committee. Meetings are held online once a month on Tuesdays at 16:00 CEST, on dates when the ILQGS is not taking place.
