Young Researchers' Journal Club and International LQG Seminar Series Restarting in September
Early Career Network
After the 2026 summer break, the ILQGS Young Researchers Journal Club will resume with online sessions once or twice a month. The first session will take place on 29 September 2026 at 16:00 (CEST). The first speaker is Alicia Castro from Heidelberg University (Germany), who will give an introductory talk on random geometries arising from random tensor models.
The informal series offers early-career researchers from within and outside the field a supportive setting to exchange ideas, discuss science and learn more about current research. Questions during the talks are warmly encouraged. Further information about the seminar as well as registration and abstract submission can be found under the following links: Young Researchers' Journal Club

ILQGS Resumes with Francesca Vidotto on 08 Sept 2026
The International Loop Quantum Gravity Seminar (ILQGS) resumes on 08 September 2026 with Francesca Vidotto from IEM-CSIC (Madrid, Spain) speaking about “LQG remnants as dark matter … and more!”
The fall 2026 schedule of the seminar and any further updates can be found under the following link: https://www.islqg.com/post/2026-ilqgs-schedule.
It will be the first time that the seminar is no longer organised by Prof. Jorge Pullin. We will ask the speakers and participants for their understanding if not everything works out smoothly straight away.
The Zoom link for the seminar will be distributed via the ILQGS mailing list. Slides, videos and supplementary background material will be published online. More information about the repositories, the mailing list and how to manage the subscription is listed below.
